i promise, i won't always post about a song. but you know, sometimes you just hear a song, and just think the whole world would be better off if they all listened to it. so really, i'm doing this for your own good. besides, in case you don't know, a lot of the Bible was written based off of songs! :)
True Love Phil Wickham
'a love more faithful than the morning' has the morning ever not come? has morning ever not followed night?? no. the morning has always been faithful. but Christ is more faithful. not only that, but it is He that causes the morning to be so!
'walls we couldn't move came crashing down, we were free and made alive' "remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the common-wealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of the commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself once new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing hostility." eph. 2:12-16
"And you who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together in him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross." colossians 2:13-14
'Jesus is alive' "but in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Cor. 15:20-23

hey, it's phil wickham!
i love the way he sings it too. with such passion...'cause he really believes it and this love makes a difference in his life. (John 13:34-35)
i love "the earth was shaking in the dark, all creation felt the Father's broken heart" a good picture of the physical phenomenon at the death of Christ. but then he goes into the fact and results of the resurrection!
